Larry Breckenridge - Principal Environmental Engineer  Resume

Mr. Breckenridge has 13 years of experience in mining environmental engineering including hydrogeology, geochemistry, water resource development, and environmental management. His work includes a diverse array of projects, including discovering a 7,000-gallon per minute (gpm) sustainable groundwater resource for silver mine in the Bolivian desert, modeling contaminant transport at an inactive uranium mill in Texas, evaluating the hydrologic containment of an unlined tailings storage facility at a Guatemalan gold mine, and creating a geochemical model of a mining pit lake in Venezuela. He is also an expert in groundwater modeling using a variety of modern programs. Mr. Breckenridge has written numerous mine closure plans and is skilled in economic assessment of environmental liabilities. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has experience in ten Latin American countries as well as experience with projects in Eastern Europe and Africa.

 

Chris Chapman - Principal Mining and Civil Engineer  Resume

Mr. Chapman is a civil and mining engineer with over 10 years of design and oversight experience in the mining industry. His design experience includes a broad range of civil and mining works such as pits, quarries, rock dumps, tailings facilities, heap leach facilities, hydraulic structures, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines and pumping systems, roads, embankments & other major earthworks, and instrumentation systems. He has developed numerous models for design and operations including ore/waste sequencing, material handling, equipment operations, slope stability, hydraulics, site water balance, data management, etc., and is versed in several engineering software packages. Mr. Chapman has prepared resource and reserve estimates for coal, aggregate, metal, and oil sands operations. He has extensive field experience including geotechnical field investigation, geologic mapping, hydrogeologic investigation, core drilling and monitoring well installation, environmental drilling, instrumentation installation, and geochemical characterization of tailings and mine waste. In addition to preparing conceptual, feasibility, and construction level drawings, reports, bid packages, and cost estimations; he has provided engineering oversight, construction management, and QA/QC services for the facilities and structures listed above. Finally, Mr. Chapman has performed audits and due diligence assessments. Mr. Chapman is fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and Spanish, and has extensive field experience in North America and Latin America.

 

Kevin Gunesch - Principal Mining Engineer  Resume

Mr. Gunesch is a Mining Engineer with 10 years of design and management skills relevant to the mining industry. He has varied experience throughout the industry including coal, industrial minerals, aggregate, and metal mining. The majority of his experience is in detailed mine sequence planning, weekly and daily production planning, long range planning, reclamation designs, quality control and assurance, mine modeling, mine design and optimization, annual budgeting, operating cost analysis, reserve calculations, equipment selection, and capital expenditure justification. He has completed numerous mine and reclamation plans, created several annual budgets and cost estimations, managed coal shipments for several mines, and implemented new quality control programs. In addition, he has worked as a front line shift supervisor and has managed survey teams and laboratory quality control and assurance personnel. Mr. Gunesch also has extensive experience in construction and contract management including contract negotiation, design construction oversight, contractor payment approval, contract closure, bid comparison, and environmental and safety policy enforcement. Mr. Gunesch is fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and Spanish, and has extensive field experience in North America and Latin America.


David K. Shaw - Professional Draftsman  Resume

Mr. Shaw is professional draftsman with over 30 years experience in the mining industry. He has prepared thousands of CAD drawings for mine planning, geologic mapping, tailings facilities, heap leach facilities, hydraulic structures, pipelines and pumping systems, civil infrastructure, instrumentation systems, and mineral processing facilities. Prior to entering consulting, Mr. Shaw worked in the industry supporting exploration, geophysical, and mining operations. Mr. Shaw also prepares graphics for presentations and is familiar with land development and volumetric software packages.
